THE SHERIFF’S PLUS ONE by Marquita Valentine
I really enjoyed The Sheriff’s Plus One by Marquita Valentine; book one in The Kincaids series. This friends to lovers sweet story brings together two people grieving the breakup of their relationships with definitely the wrong people.
As the Star Falls Sheriff, Archer Kincaid thought he’d seen everything; that is until his fiancé is a no show on their wedding day. In an attempt to save face and heal his heart he asks his best friend Molly Parrish to be his “plus one” at all events for the next year.
Molly is done with love and men but when Archer asks her to help him get over his ex- fiancé, platonically of course, she couldn’t say no. The only problem is that neither anticipated following in love with each other along the way. When Archer’s ex returns to town and asks her to help win him back, Molly believes she is cursed. Now all Molly has to do is convince him to choose her as Archer wants to convince her to be his permanent “plus one.”
Ms. Valentine wrote a wonderful, sweet, and moving story that should not be missed. They provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, fun dialogue, and charming secondary characters giving Archer and Molly a chance at love and a forever together. I highly recommend The Sheriff’s Plus One to other readers and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
