I can’t believe that I pulled my boss’s name for our company’s annual Secret Santa tradition…
As the devil incarnate, this infuriating, cocky bastard never gives us the holidays off, and he honestly expects us to be grateful for his generous alternative: The Office Party.
It’s a mandatory, all-expenses trip for two weeks at a surprise luxury resort—where we still have to work twelve to fifteen hours a day.
I’m so over this…
So, I put zero percent effort into his gift. I tear the tag off whatever my sister gifts me, add a five-dollar amazon gift card, and hand it off to him.
It’s not until my sister sends me a text that I realize how terrible of a decision that was.
Georgia: Why haven’t you sent me a 'LOL' about the brand-new vibrator I got you? I really do hope that you use your boss’s face as a muse, like my note says. 🙂
If that’s not bad enough, this year’s "luxury trip" will be in my hometown--the place I've avoided for years. At the resort that my grandmother owns...
If the universe gets me out of this, I will never ‘regift’ anything ever again…

Savannah Grey has worked at West Media for the past three years and has climbed the ladder so she is a direct report to Garrett West, the company CEO. Every year for the Christmas holiday Garrett has a 2 week mandatory working vacation for the entire company at a location of his choice. This has always irritated Savannah so she conspires to not go to the “vacation” and instead goes to Punta Cana with her sister Georgia. Thinking she has pulled one over on Garrett, she is surprised when while sitting on the beach the man himself shows up insisting she heads to Hawaii where the company “vacation” is.
Fast forward one year and Savannah picks Garrett in the company gift exchange. Not wanting to spend time getting him a gift, she re-gifts the present Georgia gave her thinking it was a gag gift. Instead it was a vibrator with a fun note attached! This starts the real fun between Savannah and Garrett! Now Garrett just needs to make Savannah see that maybe there really is something between these two.
I really enjoy Whitney G. books. They are always fun, easy to read and with a little heat. This story doesn’t disappoint. It was fun seeing Savannah and Garrett keep one upping the other until they finally gave in to their feelings. Another great job!
