If only life was a cheesy holiday movie…Unfortunately for Aspen Harris, her life doesn’t even come close.
Finding herself unemployed just before the holidays, she has no choice but to move back home and in her parents’ house. And that means leaving behind her best friend Gabriel and all her dreams of someday owning her own chocolate shop. So when Gabe suggests she come to Silver Bell Falls to spend the holidays with his family, it seems like the perfect distraction.
What’s so great about holiday movies?Don’t people realize that living in an actual Christmas town is anything but magical?
Every year, Gabriel Andrews goes home to Silver Bell Falls to help his father run the family Christmas tree lot. When Aspen tells him she has to move to the other side of the country after losing her job, he suggests she come home with him for the holidays. It’s the perfect way to spend as much time together as possible before a whole country separates them.
But this is Silver Bell Falls at Christmas time…between a mother with matchmaking tendencies, tight living quarters and far too much chocolate, it doesn’t take very long for life to start imitating art.

THE CHRISTMAS PLAN by Samantha Chase
Best friends Aspen and Gabe’s story was amazing, emotional, magical and unexpected for both of them. I absolutely loved reading The Christmas Plan by Samantha Chase book six in her Silver Bell Falls series and struggled to put it down.
Aspen Harris has always dreamt of owning her own chocolate shop, but finding herself unemployed just before the holidays puts that dream off a bit longer. Now she has no choice except to move across the country, back home to San Diego and live with her parents.
Every year, Gabriel “Gabe” Andrews goes home to Silver Bell Falls to help his father run the family Christmas tree lot. When Gabe suggests she join him on his yearly trip to Silver Bell Falls to spend the holiday with his family, it seems to be the perfect distraction. It will also allow for these two best friends to spend as much time together before they have to live far apart, across the country.
From the moment they drove into the town, Aspen felt like she was in a Hallmark movie, as the town looked just like Christmas; a magical Christmas town. Gabe discovered that his mother told everyone that he and Aspen were together. When one kiss turns to two, Aspen and Gabe find themselves crossing the line from friends to lovers; knowing they couldn’t go back.
Knowing each other better than themselves, Gabe encourages Aspen to participate in the town festivals and sell her chocolate, seeing if it was profitable and feasible. Between Gabe’s mother playing matchmaker, tight living quarters, and the warm acceptance the town provided Aspen, she was finding a new home and a way to fulfill her dream, owning a chocolate shop. Gabe needed to decide if he was ready to let Aspen go or relocate and stay with her in Silver Bell Falls.
Ms. Chase once again provided an amazing tale rich with sizzling chemistry, amusing banter, and strong characters; providing, along with a little Christmas magic, Aspen and Gabe with a chance for happiness, a future together, and everlasting love. I highly recommend The Christmas Plan to other readers.
