SLEIGH RIDE by Breezie Bennett
Sleigh Ride, a holiday novella by Breezie Bennett, book seven in her South Florida Riders series, is a wonderful, example of love and Christmas magic.
When the South Florida Riders and their families gather together for a holiday dinner with their coach John Watson, they learn that he’s not feeling the cheer and happiness. It seems there is heartbreak in the Watson home with an unhappy wife.
Being the supportive and loving players they are, they are determined to do whatever they can to remedy the situation by recreating the night John met his wife Jeanette. In Vermont … in the snow … on a sleigh. Now they only have to convert the South Florida beaches into a romantic wonderland, and find a sleigh headed by a reindeer. With love and happiness on the line these guys and their wives can get quite creative. All they need to do is create a Christmas miracle using holiday magic.
Ms. Bennett once again wrote a fun, flirty, sports rom-com that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, team chemistry, humor, wonderful dialogue, and endearing characters along with Christmas magic giving John and Jeanette a reminder of the importance of love. I highly recommend Sleigh Ride to other readers.
