REUNITED WITH HER DAREDEVIL DOC by Susan Carlisle
Dana and Travis get a chance at renewing their friendship in Reunited with her Daredevil Doc by Susan Carlisle, a wonderful, sweet, and enjoyable tale. Years ago Dana Warren and Travis Russell trained as smoke jumpers to save lives and fight wildfires; enjoying each other’s friendship. Dana has since become an experienced smoke jumper while Travis went on to medical school. Dana is assigned to guide Travis as he needs to reach a vulnerable patient while wild fires are burning around them. Things don’t go as smoothly as they would like and Dana forces herself to guard her heart, after Travis broke it years ago. As these two traverse back to the base camp, they discover feelings for each other as well as some self-discoveries about their past. I admired Dana’s strength, working in a male dominated environment and her standing up for herself and not letting Travis treat her any differently than she deserved.
Ms. Carlisle wrote a wonderful, flirty, and enjoyable romance that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, vivid scenic descriptions, and realistic characters giving Dana and Travis a chance develop a relationship beyond their friendship. I highly recommend Reunited with her Daredevil Doc to other readers.
