Paige Asher likes her men the way she likes her coffee: hot, slightly sweet, and only to-go.
The hot friend-of-a-friend she had a scorching single nightwith was just about perfect — tall, rugged, with a sexy drawl... and on the road out of town by six a.m. the next morning. Long before her mom could start picking out wedding flowers.
But now she can't stop thinking about the Louisiana boy. His texts make her smile and she suddenly has a craving for gumbo all the time... hot and spicy and far from home.
Mitch Landry had no idea Iowa would be so hospitable to a visitor. He knew the Midwest had a reputation for friendliness but his welcome gift — a sassy, sweet blond who is as no-strings-attached as he is — was a dream come true six months ago.
But why is he still texting her? And why did he jump at the chance to come back to Iowa? And why is he so annoyed by her obvious phobia to commitment this time around? And why is he pretty sure leaving Paige this time is going to be one of the hardest things he's ever done?
Damn, is this what falling in love feels like?
Oh, fu... fudge.

OH, FUDGE by Erin Nicholas
Oh Fudge, another amazing by Erin Nicholas, book five in her Hot Cakes series, is a “can’t put down” story. This book is actually a cross-over story between the Hot Cakes series and Boys of the Bayou series; being a prequel to Boys of the Bayou, book six.
Paige Asher likes men as long as they are hot, slightly sweet, and temporary. No matter how much her family pushes her to settle down and marry, this twenty-two year old likes being single. The sizzling, burn the sheets night she had with the hot friend-of-a-friend was perfect. He was perfect – tall, rugged, a sexy-drawl, and on the road back to Louisiana early the next morning. The only problem is Paige can’t stop thinking about him; his texts make her smile and she craves gumbo all the time.
This vegan, cat loving, yoga teacher doesn’t do love. Mitch Landry had no idea Iowa would be so welcoming to a visitor. Six months ago, he met a sassy, sweet blond who was as no-strings-attached as was; the perfect woman. Here he is, still texting her, thinking about her, and jumped at the chance to return to Iowa, to see her. This time Mitch is annoyed by Paige’s fear of commitment and realizes that leaving her this time will be one of the hardest things he’s ever done. Even Paige isn’t looking forward to Mitch leaving, yet maybe he’s the solution to her need to leave Iowa and get away from her family for a while. There’s no way they could be falling in love; could they?
Ms. Nicholas creates characters that are appealing, magnetic, sizzling and ready for some action. Once again she outdid herself by writing an amazing, sizzling story with a charming, jack-of-all trades hero and a very stubborn heroine who needs to be independent and in control, that should definitely not be missed. This is a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, charming characters, who make me want to live in their small town. I highly recommend Oh Fudge to other readers and cannot wait to see what happens next for Paige and Mitch, especially when Paige arrives in Louisiana.
