(✔). In this novel, KH added mystery and suspense to the checklist. The story had me thinking about deeper issues the characters were dealing with. Shock and fear (for Nora) were emotions in a couple of scenes I don’t recall experiencing
in Kristan’s previous books.

balance of her signature humor, family drama, special friendship bonds,
community, her precious
pets, and a sense of happiness and fulfillment in the very end. Now That You Mention It is written in first person POV, so I really got to
feel what Nora was going through. I highly recommend Now That You Mention It and give it 5 emotional hearts.
