The MacTaggert brothers have one task:Find English brides or lose their land!
Coll MacTaggert, Viscount Glendarril, is a big, brawny Highlander who doesn’t like being told what to do—not even by his exasperated English mother who is determined to see her eldest son wedded and bedded. However, when he comes to the rescue of an irresistibly beautiful woman, Coll discovers that he may have found his perfect match…
The challenge isn’t that Persephone Jones is famous, wealthy, independent, and smarter than anyone he knows. The problem is that she is not interested in marrying any man---especially not a hot-headed Scot—even if he is the only man who seems to understand who she really is even when she’s not sure herself. When Coll learns that Persephone is actually a lady-in-hiding and someone is willing to kill her for what she stands to inherit…Well, Coll has never been one to turn down a fight. When hearts are involved, nothing comes between a Highlander and his lady.

HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SCOT by Suzanne Enoch
I loved Coll and Persie’s amazing love story in Hit Me With Your Best Scot by Suzanne Enoch, book three in her Wild, Wicked Highlanders series.
The MacTaggert brothers learned only recently that the eldest must marry or they would lose their ancestral estate. The eldest, Coll, has refused to be interested, let alone marry, any woman their mother selected for him. This brawny, stubborn Highlander does not like to be told what to do.
When Coll comes to rescues of a beautiful woman, he just might have found his match. Persephone, Persie, Jones is famous, wealthy, independent, intelligent, and might be the perfect challenge to Coll. Persie is not interested in marry any man, especially the hot-headed Scot who understands who she really is; even if she is not sure herself.
Coll is the first person Persie confides in about her actual past. She was a wealthy lady who left everything, after her parents accepted a marriage proposal from an abusive man, old enough to be her father. When Coll discovers someone is trying to kill Persie for what she is to inherit, he decides to be her protector, bodyguard. Nothing will come between this Highlander and his lady once their hearts are involved.
I loved how strong and independent Persie was; never expecting to return to her old life. There was so much more to Coll than was shown in the earlier books of this series and early in this one. He might have been stubborn, but he was passionate about those he cared for and his family. He did not like seeing people being mistreated wrongly; whether it was correct or not, he was going to interfere to make things right.
