FLYBOY by Rhian Cahill
Flyboy by Rhian Cahill, part of K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World project, is a sizzling, workplace, marriage of convenience story. When Alyssa Drummond discovered she had a younger sister, she knew the most important thing she could do, was to be named as her permanent guardian; even giving up on her budding romance with Jack Townsend. Dealing with her lying, stealing, alcoholic mother, a hormonal teenager, and the courts, Alyssa realizes a marriage of convenience, with her best friend, would smooth things over in the courts. Jack has been hiding things from Alyssa; his real name and that he is the billionaire heir to one of the world’s largest corporations. A marriage of convenience with your best friend, a friend with benefits, and who you are falling for, just might have a lot of inconveniences attached; including a security team whose job it is to keep Alyssa and her sister safe; especially from their mother. Jack has his own problems, running his company in Vegas while flying helicopters carrying a medical team to places they need to go. Then there’s his own evil stepmother who is trying to wrestle control of his company. All Jack wants is to take care of his two strong, independent women and love them forever.
Ms. Cahill wrote an enjoyable, sizzling romance that should definitely not be missed. She provided a story with off the chart chemistry, a caring community, and charming secondary characters helping Alyssa and Jack get their happily ever after. I enjoyed and highly recommend Flyboy to other readers.
